Again I welcome you to Phogropathy for another Daily Photograph from my travels throughout the world…. okay fine it’s mostly just Massachusetts.
Yesterday I ventured up to Ashby to revisit Trap Falls with hopes that Irene’s 6+ inches of rainfall would have this waterfall in a completely different mood. My hopes were confirmed as soon as I pulled into the parking spot and saw the water level of the river leading away from the falls – this thing was GUSHING!
However, you’ll have to wait at least until next week to see a shot from this adventure as I’m showing you a different waterfall tomorrow, but don’t worry it’s worth the wait!
Today’s Photo – The Covered Footbridge
I bring up the adventure to Trap Falls yesterday because this footbridge is located just down the street from that site in a picnic area set around a little pond. The pond has been created by a dam that is just upstream from this covered footbridge.
I thought it looked kind of unique and made for an interesting opportunity to do a little more HDR work here on Phogropathy.
Hope you like it!
